Every LMC member makes a difference! In order to ensure that our events and activities are safe and well organized, we rely on members to donate their time. (Can you imagine our fabulous Halloween event without all the amazing volunteers who decorated La Fiesta square with hay bales and scarecrows, took Polaroids of our precious little trick-or-treaters, handed out goody bags, accepted our canned food donations, and guided hundreds of us through a maze of shops and parking lots—all in an incredibly calm and organized fashion?)

• Volunteer on an ad hoc basis

To ensure we have enough volunteers at our events, we call on a group of members each month (except Steering Committee and Committee members, who fulfill their volunteer requirement through their regular duties). If your last name falls within the alphabet letter listed for that month, and we are short on volunteers, we will call on you for help. This is an on-call system, so please don’t defer your volunteer energy to only your “Every Member Makes a Difference” month. (Please help when you can, as often as you like…).           

 *The activities and services offered to our members during the summer months are limited. Those members whose names fall within the June through August assignment will be on-call for our three main family events: the Halloween event, Holiday party, and Easter Egg Hunt.
