Who can join the Lamorinda Moms Club?
Anyone can become a member; there are no eligibility requirements. Most of our members are moms with children under five years old who live in Lafayette, Moraga, or Orinda, California, and the surrounding communities.

What benefits do I receive as a member?
Joining the Lamorinda Moms Club means that you will be invited to participate in child and family centered activities and events on a monthly basis, and will have access to a wealth of resources useful to parents in the Lamorinda area. Our members often say that joining LMC leads to new friendships and a closer connection to our community—critical to helping new moms feel supported in the often baffling first years of child-rearing, and more experienced parents get the most out of our family-friendly area.

What is expected of members?
The Lamorinda Moms Club is run entirely by volunteers. All members are expected to donate a minimum of two hours per year, which can be fulfilled by volunteering for a position on the Steering Committee or on an as-needed basis (baking cookies or helping during an event, participating in a community outreach project, supporting the web or newsletter team, etc.) Members are not required to attend events or participate in the club’s activities, though most choose to do so.

When can I join?
You can join the Lamorinda Moms Club at any time. See Dues to understand the implications of joining during any given month of the year. 

I’ve been a member in the past. How do I renew?
If you are a current member, print and complete the Renewal form. If your membership has lapsed, print and complete the New Member Application form and Release form. If you’re not sure about your current membership status, or have additional questions, please contact us.
