Combi USA, Inc. of Fort Mill, South Carolina, has decided to conduct a voluntary safety recall of the Centre, Centre ARB, Shuttle and associated Travel Systems after the products failed to perform in collision tests.

Name of Products: Centre, Centre ARB and Shuttle

Hazard: Combi USA, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and Transport Canada revealed that the car seat could potentially become separated from its base in motor vehicle frontal crashes.

Incidents/Injuries: Combi received no reports of injuries to date regarding the Centre, Centre ARB and Shuttle.

Description: This recall involves Combi USA Inc. Centre, Centre ARB and Shuttle (Model # 8065, 8074, 8086, 8087 and 8520) and associated Travel Systems containing Centre and Shuttle (Model # 4400, 4515, 4520), which are infant car seats with harness-height-adjustment systems and adjustable handles.

Remedy: Combi urges customers to contact them for a free retrofit kit.
