A nonprofit group called Kids in Danger released its annual report on child-related products that were recalled in 2007.

The report, called The Year of the Recall, reviews all children's products recalled by the US Consumer Safety Commission last year- and explains the dangers of each product.

The report found that recalls of children's products jumped in 2007. Two hundred and thirty-one recalls involved more than 46 million items.

"These products together caused at least 657 injuries and 6 deaths," said Nancy Cowles, executive director of Kids In Danger, in a press release. "And those incidents include only those already reported at the time of the recall. More needs to be done to protect children from these hazards."
