  • About 1,300 plaster orange and white coin banks shaped as a fish, made in China and distributed by TJ Promotions, due to excessive lead paint;
  • About 90,000 Torchiere lamps imported from China by LG Sourcing, because a short circuit in the wiring could start a fire;

About 45,000 "BabyTown" pacifiers, imported by Shims Bargain Inc. and made in China, because the pacifier shield is too small and could get into an infant's mouth. Also, the ventilation holes are too small and cannot allow a tool to remove the pacifier if it became lodged in the mouth. Finally, the package does not display the required warning instructing consumers not to tie a pacifier around a child's neck. No injuries or incidents have been reported. The recalled pacifiers, with the model No. 39864, were sold in a four-pack of assorted colors at Dollar stores nationwide from March 2004 through last month.
