  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 3 cups chicken stock
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon saffron (optional)
  • 1 cup cooked fresh peas or unthawed frozen peas
